FINANCIAL PLANNER

Simon Houle

Simon Houle has over 25 years of experience in the financial services sector, with the majority of that time spent as a financial planner. Over the years, he has provided advice to a diverse clientele of professionals, business people, and entrepreneurs. Simon is a member of the Board of Directors of ÉducÉpargne. He has also served as a board member for the Regroupement des jeunes gens d’affaires de Laval and the Regroupement des jeunes chambres de commerce du Québec, and he was the president of the Jeune chambre de Rimouski. Simon holds a B.A. in law and business administration from Laval University, the title of Certified Financial Planner from the Institute of Financial Planning, and the title of Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®). In his free time, Simon enjoys playing hockey, skiing, and traveling.

Lynn Bennett

Lynn Bennett has more than 20 years of multidisciplinary experience in the financial sector, from the stock exchange trading floor to software development for exchanges and brokers, in Canada and overseas. She is a graduate of Laval University in Business Administration, and from McGill University, she holds a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and a Graduate Certificate in Financial Planning. She completed the requirements for the IQPF Financial Planner designation in 2017. Lynn has a keen interest in financial literacy education and enjoys presenting personal finance workshops to university students & to seniors on topics such as income taxes, debt and investments. Free time is spent cycling, travelling to see great architecture, history and gardens, and taking a variety of courses, from Italian to taxes!!
